1. APPLICATION
Electromagnetic contactors, series LC1, are switching devices intended for remote start, shutdown and reversing of three-phase asynchronous motors with short-circuit rotor in AC network with frequency of 50/60 Hz and voltage of 660 V (utilization category AC-3) and for remote control of electric circuits with making current equal to rated load current (utilization category AC-1).
Jointly with thermal relays the contactors protect controlled electric motors from overloads of inadmissible duration and currents arising during loss of a phase
